Meet the Brim Babes
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Natalie is a graduate of Iowa State University, where she earned a degree in Apparel Merchandising and Design. Her background in fashion, paired with a strong attention to detail and a natural instinct for styling, allows her to thoughtfully curate looks that feel both personal and timeless. She believes great style should feel effortless, authentic, and reflective of the individual wearing it, and Natalie loves working closely with clients to help them build wardrobes that inspire confidence and longevity.
Family is at the heart of everything she does and serves as a constant source of inspiration in both her personal and professional life. When Natalie is not hard at work... She enjoys boating, traveling, and embracing the relaxed elegance of the Lowcountry lifestyle she is now proud to call home. That blend of intentional living, meaningful connections, and timeless style continues to shape her approach to fashion and the relationships she builds with clients.

Vicki came to us with many years of experience in the customer service industry. She spent most of her career in what she calls the people industry, recruiting top lawyers for one of the largest law firms in the country. In addition, she spent her time there planning large-scale events for their summer interns. While raising her family, she then spent time in other customer service industries, including medspas,
hair boutiques and retail stores.
Vicki also loves to bake and after taking extensive French baking classes, began her own baking business selling her creations to a local coffee shop. Vicki’s love of sweets turned her into a marathon runner as a way to keep things in balance. She has run several marathons, half marathons and 10k races. The joy of reaching the finish line was well worth the journey.
Vicki loves to get to know our clients. She finds in doing so that she can help you find the right hat for you. She loves watching people “cross the finish line “ with their hat journey and leaving with a smile on their face knowing they have found a custom hat that reflects their personality
Shauna is a seasoned creative professional with a rich background in makeup artistry who has thoughtfully transitioned into the world of custom hat design. Over the years, she has honed a keen eye for color, texture, and proportion, skills that now inform every piece she creates. Drawing on her experience working closely with clients in the beauty industry, she understands how personal style can be a powerful form of self-expression and brings that same sensitivity to her work as a designer.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and strong artistic vision, Shauna specializes in crafting one-of-a-kind, handcrafted hats that feel both timeless and deeply personal. From the initial concept and sketch to the final stitch, she is involved in every step of the process, carefully selecting materials, experimenting with shapes, and adding thoughtful finishing touches. Whether she’s creating a bold statement piece or a subtle, everyday accessory, her goal is always the same: to design hats that reflect her clients’ individuality, stories, and sense of style.
Beyond her studio, Shauna finds joy and inspiration in the simple, meaningful rhythms of daily life. She loves cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, often approaching a new recipe the same way she approaches a new design—curious, intuitive, and open to discovery. Most of all, she values spending quality time with her family, believing that the moments shared around a table, on a walk, or in quiet conversation are what truly shape who we are. These everyday experiences fuel her creativity and remind her why she creates: to celebrate the people, memories, and moments that matter most.
